Covid -19 Safety Procedures
Staff, children and parents will wear face coverings when arriving and leaving the tennis courts.
The Tennis Instructor will be wearing a mask and gloves at all times during each class
All equipment will be wiped down with 99.9% germ killing sanitizer wipes before and after each class
Only players will be allowed inside the tennis courts. Upon drop off, parents or care givers must remain outside the tennis courts.
The tennis instructor & GPTC will not provide towels, water, sunscreen, masks, gloves, tennis racquets or tennis equipment to any of the children
Should any of the children feel any COVID-19 symptoms, regardless how slight or minimal, they are required to report this information to the tennis instructor immediately.
Group lessons will be divided into groups based on the instructor/pupil ratios provided by State, County and the United States Tennis Association guidelines.
In an attempt to practice distancing, the coach plans to run drills/games/activities that does not require players to be close to one another. We will be reminding players of this throughout the classes.
Payment in full is required at the time of registration. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. CASH AND CHECKS AT THE COURTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Participation will not be allowed until the program fee has been paid in full. Missed classes can be made up by attending another similar class in alternate weeks within the summer session or a similar class during the 2020 summer session at the Georgetown Prep Tennis Club and are based on class “hours missed,” not days. Cancellations. Customers wishing to cancel a class should call the Georgetown Prep Tennis Club. Cancellations within two weeks of the start of a program are subject to a $50 administrative fee. Customers rescheduling the class or applying the price of the class to a program at another facility do not pay the administrative fee.
Weather-related cancellations. Customers are encouraged to ensure that the club has a current email to receive notices of weather cancellation for programs. All notices will go out by email. The club will make every effort to make-up play cancelled due to inclement weather. No make-ups are guaranteed.
Drop-in Classes. Customers may cancel a drop in class up to 24 hours before the class is offered at no penalty. After that time, because the program has been staffed based on the customer's registration, no refund is offered.
