Several of our ladies team players spent some time in Hilton Head, South Carolina for a tennis getaway. While on the trip they had the once in a lifetime opportunity to hear former Wimbledon and U.S. Open champion Stan Smith speak about doubles strategy! While they weren't on the courts, they enjoyed the warm weather at the beach, rode bikes around the island, and had daydreams of being back on the court. 

Our Junior Director, Anthony Kountouris, Made a trip down to Georgia last month to retake his USPTA exam.  He Successfully met all of the requirements and is now certified at the elite level. Be sure to congratulate Anthony on this great achievement!

On Sunday the 20th, We had an entertaining evening of POP Tennis at GPTC. 10 kids and 10 adults were introduced to POP and had a great time. The event was a great example of how POP tennis evens the levels of all of the players and can be fun for the whole family as well as individuals. Be on the lookout for more POP tennis in the near future!

Two interns from Ferris State University's Professional Tennis Management program will be joining us for the Summer. We are excited to have Conner Poe and Steven Shields making the trip to Maryland from Michigan in early May. They will be assisting with junior and adult clinics as well as the summer junior camps.
